We have been happily married for thirty-six (36) years. Our marriage experience has been productive and rewarding, but we have also had to face challenges and push through difficult times. Through it all, and by God's grace we have realized blessings and favor. As "Buds" (best friends) we share our relationship experience with other couples: dating, engaged, married, separated, or divorced. As Marriage Educators and Certified Pre-Marital Counselors we host and facilitate retreats and seminars to assist other couples in achieving and maintaining loving and lasting relationships.

My wife and I attended a We Be Buds Partnership in Marriage Buzz Session in Charlotte, NC. The topics discussed were spiritually enlightening and informative. The session offered me ideas on how to improve some areas of my marriage and gave me a better appreciation of my spouse. I would definitely attend a future event and encourage others to attend.

This is definitely what we needed. It will help us to better our relationship - even after 20 years of marriage. What a blessing! Thank you.
The We Be Buds Marriage Enhancement Class held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Waxhaw, NC was a great experience. The opportunity for couples to open up and share their successes and challenges was necessary and appreciated.
The We Be Buds Marriage Enrichment Session we attended in Charlotte was awesome. We really enjoyed the conflict resolution segment. The Lightseys are extremely professional and quite knowledgeable as marriage educators. We were really blessed and definitely expect to attend their next seminar.
Here is a group photo of the attendees at our February 2020 Marriage Enhancement Class. This was at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Waxhaw, NC. One couple has been married for 55 years.
It was such a diverse group and a group that was a blessing for us to coach and mentor.
